Here's an alternative to the somewhat clumsy Price Guide Binding.

I trimmed off the spiral part and re-punched (just with a single hole punch,,, it only takes a few minutes if you gang up the pages) the book following the pattern of a "Day-Timer". Use one of their pages as a template.

Take the adhesive "donuts" (in my case clear ones) and reinforce the holes punched in the front and back cover for strength. You can also use these if you accidentally rip out a page.

The Day-Timer works GREAT since it fits the Price Guide and also comes with some useful accessories. A ruler, phone book / contacts, note paper, business card holder,,,

I enjoy the privacy I have with a zip-up Guide as well. It's nobody's business what's tucked under my arm. We work hard researching, right?

I'm known at some of the regular antique shows as "The guy with the book under his arm that collects insulators".

I've used the system for 5 years and love it!
