I recently visited the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. I had always wondered what insulators were used to hold the pantographs on top of the GG1 to connect to the 11,000 Volt AC centenary system. They are what look to be porcelain suspensions with special end caps made by Ohio Brass.
