As I was leaving an antique mall with my McLaughlin bottle find, I spotted this ceramic bowl on the floor under a shelf. Among the porcelain strain insulators was this neat spool. The dimensions fit either a CD 1087 or a CD 1104. Some features don't quite line up with McDougal line drawings in the price guide. One end of the spool is rounded and smooth; the other has a beveled end. Glass is crude and has no embossing. Ice blue tint in color. Consensus is CD 1104[005] in an unlisted ice blue tint.
