Here are a pair of U-73 exchange types made by Pittsburg High Voltage Insulator Company. The left one has a cool 'gold' glaze and lots of bumps and other defects that make many PHV insulators appealing. The insulator is not a leaner, the rug that the insulators were photographed on makes the insulators lean. The piece on the right is a gorgeous red/brown color. It is out of round. This one was on my display of U-73s that I put up at the Springfield, Ohio show a few years ago. The U-73 is a common insulator that fortunately has some good color variation, and crudely manufactured pieces. Unknown previous ownership of both of these.
