Here is a side view photo of two Scarce LRIs marked: Pat Apld For. The embossing is in the 'face' or wire groove- which is to the left on these two. I do not know where these styles were used, but possibly in New England. I have seen several variations of the aqua color. The one on the left has a nice olive swirl.
