This is a base view of a SCA Stebbins patent LRI. Note the metal 'button' which holds the metal tie wire. This button is not shown in the patent copy linked by me in my last Stebbins photo. The small wire used to secure the tie wire mentioned in the patent copy would seem to be impractical, and this button is the only means of attachment that I have seen. Purchased at the Marlborough, MA NIA National show in 1995
