1928 Carnegie Steel rail still in use on old Nickel Plate

Amazingly, this 1928 rail is still in use on what was once the nickel plate line and is now owned by the South Shore Railroad for freight service. Few trains are run here now, as can be seen by the amount of rust on the top of the rail.
