This one is embossed on the flange as can be seen. It is marked: OTIS PATENT AUG. 6. 1851 The lettering is in serif style and is upside-down. Note too the error patent date of Aug 6, when it should be Aug 26. This piece came from the collection of Jerry Turner in 1990.
