Here is an unusual Spratt//Patent // 1850 LRI with fancy serif embossing. The rim with the embossing is very much rounded on this type. I refer to it as; 'bike tire type' Spratt. It is a shorty being 1 1/4" tall. Purchased by me in May of 1990. Formerly in the Jerry Turner collection.
