Little Joe electric locomotive

This is a polaroid photo I took on 10-4-75 at the Michigan City, Indiana yards of the South Shore railroad. These General Electric locomotives were built for export to the Soviet Union just after World War II but remained in the U.S. after old Joe Stalin started to worry us. These were nicknamed "Little Joe" after Stalin. They were still in use when this photo was taken.
