A 14.4 Kv line, #4/0 stranded Copper, is suspended on what looks to be 80-Kv class insulation. These towers are very very old. The line stretches from the Murfreesboro TVA/Middle TN Electrical Membership Co-op/Murfreesboro Municipal Power Company co-op substation to the small town of Kittrell, about 20 miles away. These are similar, if not alike, to the Aermotor towers in Rock Island, TN that Jeff Kraemer posted in the summer. Would have been installed in the TEPCO days to get power out of Nashville to Woodbury along US 70S. |
