I never believed that lightning could strike twice. . . well. . . guess it can! Went back to the little shop in Northern Nevada this weekend. . . the shop that had the gray/blue Line Materials suspension insulator that I found a few weeks ago. . . Well. . . found it's mate! This time the insulator has part of the line wire and wire bracket attached. There are scorch marks as seen on the picture (it is the bottom one) where something caused quite an arc that blistered the porcelain and left burn marks on the inside rings. For those of you who asked. . . I am currently working with the owner of the shop to acquire more of these if he has them.

Yep . . . that is an old bar stool that these are hanging from. . . don't think I would DARE hang them outside do you?!
