Photo of a glob (often referred to as snot) in the domeglass of a Brookfield made CD 147. What is insulator 'snot' comprised of and what causes it's formation? (Answer - the consensus seems to be milkglass cullet mixed in with with the molten glass. The globs of snot are chunks of melting milkglass.) Thanks to everyone who responded to my question!
