Old C&NW mainline - SW SD

This is south of Rapid City; anyone adventurous enough to do some hiking should check this out. When I was first shown this line, the line was down to 5 conductors - the outer 4 being copper wire and 42s. The middle, iron, wire was the one to watch since it had the most variety - most being CDs 145 (Crebs or Pettos), 147, or 152 Hemis. Once in a great while, however, there would be a 126 or 126.3 still faithfully holding the wire aloft. Here you can barely see the line leaping overland as the tracks make a comparatively sharp turn. The railroad came along and has since scavenged the copper conductors. Given that they have been doing work along here recently, who knows how much longer these will stand?
