Linda and I recently purchased a 30 foot trailer and a GMC 2500 diesel pickup to haul it. We're thinking ahead a couple of years to my retirement, and trying to ease in to it somewhat gently.

So last week we took a trial run up to Copper Falls State Park near Mellen, WI. I spent a few hours checking out Mellen.

I spotted the remains of this speeder outside of an antique store, along with other misc railroad stuff. Note the one lung horizontal engine, and the wide drive belt. This would make a great restoration project for a speeder collector!
