Here's a shot of a lovely amber LRB that I passed by on April 21, on my way home from the OVIC Show in Perth, Ontario. The sun was out and this beauty was just glowing up on its rod. Most of the others I saw on the trip had white milkglass balls on them. This is one of only a few coloured that I saw. I have been watching this one for a couple of years now, but finally the weather was right to stop and take a picture or 2. I can't tell if the old house it's on is still lived in or not. It looked pretty run-down to me. I won't say exactly where this is, but it is somewhere between Sudbury and Perth, Ontario, so that narrows it down to about 500 kms. I'm not sure if this is the correct folder for LRB pics, but I didn't see a better place for it. |
