UP train MPRPB 13 heads south through the booming metropolis of Fountain, IL on 3-14-2007. This train had seven units this afternoon, a common thing for the train, if not sometimes eight or nine engines. Three were pulling, four were idle. The train usually shuttles power and/or new units from Chicago to Pine Bluff for reassignment down there, or forwarding of new units to places they need to go. Today's power was not new, with three SP veterans, a few UPs from the 1990s, and a former CNW taking lead duty.
