Tie #18 - Double arm dead end of iron wire

This is an interesting setup with iron wire dead ended on double arm configuration, wrapped only once around the dead end, and the loose end spliced in a sleeve to itself, then an insulated drop wire twisted onto iron conductor. I am assuming at one time this line continued, but was dead ended in later years. It's neat to see iron on newer glass, too. This came from a railroad line.
