As I follow a set of tracks I admire this tressle bridge by the river front. How old I'm not sure. I know service to Eldridge Iowa was around 1860-1869 could this be that old?? I guess I'll have to check into it some more. 2 steel brides that attache to this are new. replaced a few years ago. probably because they cross a heavly traveled road.
