CD 133 [230] Brookfield. Embossed on the front W. BROOKFIELD / 2 / 55 FULTON ST./ N.Y. Emossed on the back CAUVETS / PAT / JULY 25, 1865. This is among the earliest threaded insulators featuring only the 1865 Cauvet patent date. All of the embossing on the front and back of this one is strong. There is a black carbon bubble streak in the front skirt. If you follow this mold series, the #2 mold is a tough one. Aside from some nibbling and a clean pinky nail chip on the dome top, this piece is in very nice condition for its age. Picture of back available upon request.
