This is the sight I was greeted with today when I had to make a fast trip to the hospital. The CSX engine was sitting about 50 feet from the crossing and just as I turned the corner from my drive to go, bells, whistles, lights, and ever so sluggishly did it come to life, inching down the track. What was supposed to be a fast trip to the hospital turned into a 10 minute wait, the train never got over 5 MPH, even WITH two huge diesels chugging away on this brute. My father, he always got red lights when he was in a hurry, I get the trains......
