CIMBT9 11 heads west at Kirkwood, MO. Note the code line next to the track. The signals remained in service, fortunately, except during the power outage feeding the area. This is a stretch of about a dozen poles that is still in service in Kirkwood, carrying code line from the westbound signals seen in the distance to the eastbound signals which are right to my left. There are even a few MoPac insulators left on this stretch, as well as a lot of Porters, OB and Illinois beehives, some Hemingray 42s and 40s, HG beehives, and Hemingray 17s. |
