The great Thomas Viaduct near Baltimore MD ( the town of Relay) Construction began on July 4, 1832 and took three years to build. It has 8 arches, and is still in use today ! It is double tracked, and carrys all the freight from Baltimore to Washington DC. 172 years, and still going strong !
