This is among the earliest threaded insulators featuring only the 1865 Cauvet patent date. All of the embossing on the front and back of this one is super strong. Strong MLOD as well. I would rate this one as mint condition as well as I can't find anything wrong with it. You'll never need to upgrade. I sold one of these to an electrician at a show once & he said he liked it because he thought the open top 4 looked like a lightning bolt.
