This is a picture of what the suspensions look like. As far as I have been able to determine, this one line is the only place they were used, and then only at jump points. Only a couple have survived. They appear to have been made by Thomas, judging from the colors and the fact that the lower surface has a visible fabric texture, much like the "blue jean" impression in many Thomas inner skirts (but no seam as the surface is close to flat).
