These NGK blues are amongst my favourite colour of porcelain Suspension . I have seen pictures of similar blue Ohio Brass products, but these appear not to have been used in western Canada. Again there is a similar damage pattern, and while these are of considerably greater capacity, I am sure the lightning wins every time, regardless of size / capacity. Also note the scarring on the metal surfaces indicating the path / flow of the discharge. I did have a glass suspension that appears to be partially melted on the surface. I suspect this was also from a lightning strike Unfortunately, I can't locate it at the moment. Photographs will follow instantly when it is found.
