Ground was shaking just a bit as 7 units roll into the tunnel; the Moffat Tunnel was build between 1923-27 and the first train went through in Feb 1928 which brought an end to the scenic Rollins Pass line which skirted north of the tunnel you see here. The tunnel itself is just a shade over 6 miles in length and the western portal opens up into Winter Park.
