This is a side view of the caramel colored glaze Ohio Brass 10 inch ball & socket fog suspension insulator I found this week at a Texas flea market. The unit is marked 15000 LB and has a sandblast date code for 1948. See photo #2 for underside detail showing the two inner skirts of 8 and 8.5 inches that help this unipart weigh in at a hefty 15.5 pounds. This thing is bigger and heavier than a Hewlett!
