This is a bottom view of the caramel colored glaze Ohio Brass 10 inch ball & socket fog suspension insulator I found this week at a Texas flea market. The unit is marked 15000 LB and has a sandblast date code for 1948. Notice the two inner skirts with 8 and 8.5 inch diameters. See photo #1 for a side view of this hefty 15.5 pound unipart. This thing is bigger and heavier than a Hewlett!
