Traveling through East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, on April 5, 2006, I spotted this slow plodding freight of about 20 mixed cars and 3 engines heading east along the Delaware Water Gap on the Pennsylvania side of the river. Most certainly a GVT (Gennessee Valley Transportation) train. There are two Mohawk, Adirondack & Northern units and the lead unit is unidentified (probably a Delaware-Lackawanna unit, unpainted). |
