This is one of my favorite insulators. About as crude and bubbled as can be without being fizzy. Very hard to photograph. The crude exterior actually hides a fracture that follows the wire groove most of the way around. I have had this piece for 5 years and never noticed the crack until I underlit it to photograph it.
