CD 133 [230] Brookfield. Embossed W. BROOKFIELD 5 55 FULTON ST. N.Y. on the front and CAUVET'S PAT. JULY 25, 1865 on the back. Embossed very strongly on both sides. More of a blue aqua color to this one with a nice swirl start to the threads. This likely dates from the late 1860s - early 1870s making it a nice affordable early threaded piece in a time when threadless were still being made. These are among my favorite early threaded pieces. I am looking for one with a mold number 8. A few small pin to match head pings and a faint bruise in the skirt that you need to catch in the light just a certain way to see. A very nice piece. Priced @ $16.66 shipped to your door.
