What do the initials M.B.&W.R.R. stand for? I Googled these initials, but found nothing. Also Googled the "Cumbres" name that appears on the locomotive and got a link to the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad. This picture was taken in East Bernard, Texas circa 1910. Since the C&T railroad operates in New Mexico and Colorado, this may not be the same railroad. Any help is appreciated. Hint: The "W" likely stands for Western. It is Mount Blanca and Western. I have no idea who they are, but it looks like they were affiliated with the narrow guage Rio Grande lines out there. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Thanks, Pat, for the reply. After some Googling and surfing, I now know that the Mount Blanca & Western was a railroad that operated near Alamosa, Colorado.
