When was the last time that you spoted a purple aspect signal? I obtained a couple of glass aspects made by KOPP glass, they still have the certified sticker on them that says "purple" on it. I threw one into this old single aspect signal head that I had. It may look a little "blue" in the picture since it was taken during the day, but at night it looks like a neat purple, almost like a "blacklight" color.
