Who's heard of the Chicago, Missouri, and Western Railway? Probably not too many. CMNW was only around for a year and a half in the late 1980s, operating between STL and KC and STL and Chicago. I'll bet a lot of people have seen the glass filled pole line that runs along I-55 from Chicago to Springfield, IL. That was once CMNW, now owned by Union Pacific. This picture taken 8-26-1990.
