A motley 4 unit mixed freight heading south through Sharonville (suburban Cincinnati), Ohio, on the Norfolk Southern (Conrail, formerly Pennsylvania RR) spur that connects the north-south Dayton line with the east-west NS line, the IORY Blue Ash division and CSX, on July 14, 2005. There is a NREX unit, what looks like a former BN unit (end unit, I didn't catch the reporting mark), an Indiana & Ohio unit (IORY, in the lead) and a CP unit, laboring along at a casual 15 mph. Caught this one with a cheap throw-away tourist camera as I was stopped by surprise once again at a grade crossing. I watched several trains run over this line and I never once saw 2 engines with a uniform paint job or reporting mark.
