My brother and I took a trip with 2 rail fan friends on the "Pokey" last week, NS's Pocahontas Division from Bluefield VA/WV, to Williamson, WV., a MAJOR coal artery in WV. Plenty of history to see, but no pole line :-( My favorite shot is seen above, as an auto-rack movement is led by Union Pacific C40-8 #9350 as it ascends the grade in Kyle, WV. The vibrant colors were achieved by over-exposure, NOT Photoshop ;-)
