We had our annual fun day and banquet in mid-last November at the Oregon Electric Ry. Museum, Brooks, OR. It was a very foggy day when I went over to the substation and turned the power on for our members day trolley rides. I looked at the tell-tale "pilot light" (top of photo) which is a somewhat restored 5 bulb way station light from the old Portland Traction system. This light is a series bulb affair directly off the 600 volt D.C. power supply line for the railway and a visible indicator that the POWER IS ON!
