Many who think of Colorado and winter think of a wonderland buried deep in an endless blanket of snow, yet those more familiar with the state are well aware that there are many faces to Colorado. Here we see D&RG 484 heading out onto the flatlands east of Cumbres Pass toward Antonito (elevation 7,888 feet) in a typically crisp, clear, frozen winter day for that area.
