CSX has ordered roughly 20 of GM-EMD's newest locomotive, the SD70Ace. This brand new ACe was caught at CSX's Bryan Park Engine Terminal here in Richmond, Virginia. This unit is #4847, and the last I heard the ACe's are numbered 4831-4850. GM-EMD's website claims "3 SD70ACe's can replace 5 SD40-2's in high tractive effort operations." Personally, I would love to see the veteran SD40-2's run the road instead of these ugly things, although I do like the "Dark Future" (Yn3) paintjob.
