Here is a close up view of the skirt where the dot or dash is located. Is it really an unembossed Star?

"Without getting into my photo files to get some side-by-sides for evidence, these unmarked Stars were found scattered all over the northwest. I never found many of them in one spot, just one here, one there. They were found alongside identical Star-marked units in some installs. The circle at the top of the mandrel screams Elmer, and the colors I have seen ... crappy aquas and leaning green into some fairly nice greens, suggest Novelty. I have never seen real bright blues like Sterlings were known for. Harloe is possible, but it looks more Novelty to me."
