Some cute political maneuvers by local reps of the Colorado Historical Society has spelled the end to 30 years of steam railroad operations over the Georgetown Loop. Here we see GLRR No.40 being pushed up the ramp and onto a truck to be hauled away to storage at the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden while 40's tender patiently waits on another truck on the freeway ramp beyond.
