A beautiful yellow green "Johnny Ball" was found
near Fredricksburg, Virginia last weekend by a line crew working on the B&O line. The
proud owner,
Gus Stafford ,
had the following to say:
"It's virtually impossible to find an uncataloged embossing. I was rendered
speechless when I first saw this new find. The letters, C.C.B.I.O. are arranged in the
same 3D Monogram Style as the Harloe Glass Company. It's as if someone created this beauty
to draw attention to the upcoming National Convention
Show and Sale in Williamsburg." While there are some theories as to the
manufacturer of this new find, nothing firm can be found to verify its origin. |
