The Hobby of Collecting Insulators By Bob Merzoian 1:30 minute video on DVD

This project took over two years to record, edit, and release. Some of the topics covered are:

• A brief history of the hobby; various tailgaters (from Arizona to Montana, and back to California)
• Many interviews with collectors themselves (new and established veterans and other prominent collectors in the hobby)
• Shows (including the Western Regional, Auburn, Cayucos, and Tulare)
• Even a "hunt-in-the-wild" (in the California Sierra Nevada mountain area)

I used limited still pictures and a lot of digital video to produce this nearly hour and a half long professionally produced DVD. Videography is a serious sideline in which I have been working for over twenty years. My equipment is state-of-the-art. Feedback has been quite positive from the variety of purchasers. This project is aimed at both the established and beginning collectors as well as the general public. It is a fascinating and entertaining look at our wonderful hobby. I know anyone buying this "labor-of-love" will enjoy it. Note. It can also be used to help convince doubters (domestic and otherwise) that we aren't really crazy after-all.
