CD 147 Spiral Groove Variations

CD 147 Hemingray All are smooth based and skirt and/or dome embossed. These features will be listed only as they apply. Numbers in brackets: i.e. [010], refers to variants as shown in the 2003 Price Guide by John & Carol McDougald. Absence of a number in brackets indicates that this variant does not appear in the Price Guide. Punctuation (periods, apostrophes, etc.) are shown exactly as found on the insulator and is a major portion of this study. Please note the location of punctuation and report any variations you find. Because I mean for this study to be somewhat scientific, I need definite verification of any variant by way of a foil rubbing, photograph, actual possession, etc. Contact me for more particulars. Please read the notes as there are some variants that have been reported that have not been verified.

Notes:

Brookfield products have ^TH after the 8 in the date. Hemingray products do not.
The following numbers are known on variants #8 and #9: 1 - 6, 8 - 35 and 49. Please report others to the author.
Some periods after the 7 on variant # 17a appear as a period with a pointed tail or sideways apostrophe. I do not believe this was intentional as in # 4. Thus, I have not assigned it a separate number.
