Depending on how you hold the insulator and how it is lighted, you can see an overall purple tint to the insulator or you can see the purple in the dome differently at different angles. The picture is a little dark but shows the purple pretty well...the actual insulator is a light ice/clear color with the purple in the dome and an overall pinkish tint due to the purple. This insulator is in fantastic condition...VVVNM - just one half of one drip flaked, some annealing cracks in the pinhole - otherwise factory mint. This is a fairly rare catalog-quality insulator in superb condition...a nice top-shelf H.G.Co signal for any CD 151, Hemi or H.G.Co collector.
