This insulator was found on the same building-protruding "crossarm as the purple "Jumbo" and an aqua Oakman one by Joe (via a bucket "truck's help!) in the early 1970s. The insulator shown has no markings. It has some base chipping on its reverse side (you can't see that!). Joe Maurath, Jr. thinks it was made by Brookfield but will not bet his life upon that! It is a very spectacular color and like the other two CD 140s he acquired that day (the purple unembossed and the Oakman) this one was heavily paint-covered and Joe did not know what color these massive insulators were until he got home and cleaned them in the kitchen sink.
