This piece belongs to Joe Maurath, Jr. and he has had it for ages. It is unique and is of a nifty light green chock-filled with little white specks and zillions of teeny seed bubbles. On its side (at the mold line) there are some awesome dark olive stringers at random all over the place that seem like they were "born" from a small piece of metal embedded in the glass during manufacture. Olive swirls continue nearly all around the insulator in a milky-way galaxy formation, giving the insulator a two-toned appearance. I took a second photo of this piece from its side and it will be shown right after this one. Oh, by the way, it has a small mold number "1" atop its dome and the 1870 date on its reverse which is hardly readable.
