This piece was acquired from Tom Moulton in the late 1980s and subsequently made its way into Joe Maurath, Jr.'s collection. This example is probably the nicest known (condition-wise) of all of the other CD 102.4 NET&Ts out there. Joe's insulator has slightly more rounded wire groove/base rim edges which probably have given luck to its pristine condition. Most others have very fine and defined ridges all about making them prone to chipping and damage. Joe's insulator is light aqua and as shown is base embossed. There currently is no idea who made these very rarely found insulators. All are aqua. Any light green one(s) are so far unconfirmed via Joe's research.
