This CD 106.1 insulator produced by the Duquesne Glass Co. has an unlisted embossing, sort of a hybrid between the [010] and [035] embossing indices in that it has a dome number AND it also has the periods following each word! Specifically, it has an upside-down 9 plus a dot on the dome, and then the embossing reads (F-skirt) DUQUESNE. (R-skirt) GLASS.CO. The color in my pics looks a bit like Cornflower, but it is not in real life!, although still a nice shade of Blue (and not Blue Aqua). Condition is very good with the exception of a shallow thumbnail-sized chip out of the upper wire ridge near the right mold line, and some additional nibbling along that same surface along the ridge. Neat, crude old piece of glass! Asking $33 which includes shipping in the US or Canada. Thanks for looking. Trying to move some items before the National -- how about $33 including shipping?? Cheap!! :-) |
